Regrettably, road conditions have not improved in order to safely facilitate travel. As a result, Aztec Municipal School District will conduct remote instruction for all students today, Monday, January 8, 2024 starting at 10:00AM. Please have your students login using their District-issued chromebooks.
Classes will be online only beginning at 10:00 am with a fifteen minute grace period for students, with some discretion upon talking to the teacher.
- Classroom teachers are expected to hold 1 class Google Meeting at 10 am for a minimum of 30 minutes and 1 class Google Meeting in the afternoon for a minimum of 30 minutes at a time TBD by the teacher. They will also prepare and post approximately 2 hours of independent work; that may include movies, online practice, online textbook work, drawing, record keeping, taking pictures, or other assignments. It is important that students check their Google Classrooms for meeting codes, follow up times, and assignments.
- Special’s teachers should hold a class Google meeting for a minimum of 20 minutes with each Special they have scheduled for the day at their regular Special’s time (except those before 10:30 am). They will prepare and post approximately 20 minutes of independent work; that may include movies, online practice, online textbook work, drawing, record keeping, taking pictures, or other assignments. It is important that students check their Special’s classes Google Classroom to double check for meeting times and assignments
