Regrettably, road conditions have not improved in order to safely facilitate travel. As a result, Aztec Municipal School District will conduct remote instruction for all students today, Thursday , January 11, 2024 starting at 10:00AM.
Classes will be online only beginning at 10:00 am with a fifteen minute grace period for students, with some discretion upon talking to the teacher.
Classroom teachers are expected to hold 1 class Google Meeting at 10 am for a minimum of 30 minutes and 1 class Google Meeting in the afternoon for a minimum of 30 minutes at a time TBD by the teacher. They will also prepare and post approximately 2 hours of independent work; that may include movies, online practice, online textbook work, drawing, record keeping, taking pictures, or other assignments. It is important that students check their Google Classrooms for meeting codes, follow up times, and assignments.
Special’s teachers will have one large group grade level Google Meeting for a minimum of 20 minutes for students in that special on that day. They will also prepare and post approximately 20 minutes of independent work; that may include movies, online practice, online textbook work, drawing, record keeping, taking pictures, or other assignments. It is important that students check their Google Classrooms for meeting codes, follow up times, and assignments and use the meeting codes to join the meet at the designated time below.
